Stimukil Fly Bait 454gm
Active ingredients: contains 10 g/kg methomyl and 0.4 g/kg (Z)-9-trichosene in the
form of a sugar-based bait.

Toxicity:
May be harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the skin.
Avoid breathing dust and contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
Wear suitable protective clothing, especially gloves and footwear, when handling and
using bait and equipment.
Wash thoroughly before eating, drinking or smoking.
Ecotoxicity:
Harmful to aquatic organisms and soil environment. Do not apply directly to
water. Do not contaminate any water body with bait or empty container.
Harmful to birds, domestic animals and wildlife. Accessible areas treated with
this bait are hazardous to birds and other wildlife. Collect, cover or bury granules
spilled on the ground.
Toxic to bees. Do not place baits within 400 metres of beehives.
FIRST AID
If swallowed: Do not induce vomiting. Contact the National Poisons Centre 0800
POISON (0800 764 766) or a doctor immediately for advice.
Note to physician: Methomyl is a cholinesterase inhibitor. Atropine is an antidote.
If in the eyes: Wash with plenty of water for 15 minutes. Get medical assistance if
irritation persists.
If on the skin: Remove contaminated clothing and wash skin immediately with soap
and water. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
GENERAL
Stimukil Fly Bait is an improved fly bait containing a sex attractant and a feeding
synergist that encourages male and female flies to remain in the treated area and
stimulates vigorous feeding on the bait
• Do not use this product around or inside homes, or any place where children are
likely to be present.
• Do not use in edible product areas of food processing plants or other areas
where food is commercially prepared or processed. Do not use in serving areas
while food is exposed.
• Keep children and pets clear from scatter bait treatment areas.
FOR COMMERCIAL USE ONLY: Use only in areas inaccessible to food
producing animals. Do not contaminate feed and foodstuffs. Do not apply where
poultry or animals, especially dogs and young calves, can pick it up or lick it.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Bait Station Use: Do not use around or inside homes or other places where
children are likely to be present. Stimukil Fly Bait may only be used in conjunction
with a fly bait station. Pour Stimukil Fly Bait into fly bait station. Replace cover
carefully to avoid spillage of bait. Use the product at a rate of approximately two bait
stations per 50 square metres of fly feeding area. Hang fly bait station out of reach of
food producing animals or pets (at least 1.5m off the ground). Do not hang bait
stations within reach of children. Use fly bait stations around the outside of broiler
houses, kennels, canneries, beverage processing plants, meat and poultry
processing plants, food processing plants and refuse waste bins associated with
these establishments, and inside of caged layer houses. May also be used on fences
or otherwise enclosed areas inaccessible to children around the outsides of
restaurants, supermarkets, and bakeries.
Scatter Bait Use: The use of scatter bait is limited solely to commercial
establishments where children will not be present, such as feed lots, poultry houses,
livestock sheds, canneries, beverage plants, meat and poultry processing
establishments, commercial refuse waste bins which are fenced or otherwise
enclosed, and food processing plants.
Do not use around commercial waste bins that are not enclosed or are in residential
settings. Distribute bait from container or use other device to avoid handling bait
directly. Scatter bait (do not put in piles) at a rate of 120g per 50 square metres of
area.
Brush on Use: Mix 100g Stimukil with 100ml of water to form a paste and stir well.
Apply paste with brush on walls, windowsills, and support beams where flies usually
land, such that poultry or cattle cannot come in contact with the paste.
Storage and disposal: Store in a cool dry place inaccessible to children and
animals. Container disposal: Triple rinse empty container, crush and bury in a
suitable landfill.
